Recent Updates--And Some Additions-- At Lehmann House

In my previous post, I noted all of the extra cleaning and sanitizing measures we’re taken, in addition to having the same dedicated staff serve you each day. But there’s more . . .

For all 30 years of my career, I have served guests family style in the dining room. During this time of caution and precautions, I will now be offering breakfast in your bedroom, a private breakfast in the parlor or library, as well as breakfast by appointment in the dining room. Our dining room table is 14 feet long, so we can serve from two singles, up to three couples, and still observe the “six feet apart” suggestion to keep everyone safe.
If these alternate dining styles are well received, we may make them a permanent addition for future guests.

Forget to bring a mask? We will have them here for you!

Although we continue to be allowed to take in guests, we want to observe the “no more than 10 shall gather” rule as set by our mayor this week. To be compliant, we are keeping reservations to only 10 guests at a time. When we hit that limit, we will close off any remaining rooms. We want you to feel comfortable and safes, especially if you chose us over a huge hotel with lots other guests and lots of different staff.

So, spring is here. Daffodils and the forsythia bushes are sporting their yellow blooms! We are here and ready to welcome you when you’re able to visit the sites of our wonderful city. You can GO HERE to book or give us a call if you prefer. We look forward to introducing you to our new ways of hosting.

We tried the “Breakfast in Your Room” option this past weekend. We actually opted to reserve the library (closer to the coffee!). It was really nice—private but everything was accessible. We may request this next time!!” Tina S., Omaha, NE
