Missouri History Museum
The Missouri History Museum is also known as the Jefferson Memorial Building, built in 1913 with profits from the 1904 Worlds’ Fair. For those interested in Missouri history, and especially Saint Louis history, you will want to make this a stop. Standing exhibits include the 1904 Worlds’ Fair, Charles Lindbergh and a number of artifacts from the Lewis & Clark expedition.
The mission of the Missouri History Museum is to combine historical perspectives with contemporary issues to inspire and engage our audiences.
Like other venues owned and support by the city, thanks to legislation by Frederick W. Lehmann, general admission to the Museum is free, but reservations must be made. Check the calendar for times and any fees for SPECIAL EXHIBITS. Unless otherwise noted, all programs and events are held at the Missouri History Museum.
A perfect opportunity to understand the history of ST. Louis, which Lehmann House Bed and Breakfast is a part of.
